Founded in 2013
The Reach Yorktown Ministry Inc. is comprised of churches in the Mt. Pleasant Township Yorktown area who have come together in response to the call of Jesus Christ to share His love and increase His Kingdom by meeting the physical and spiritual needs of those around us: “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me. I was in prison and you came to visit me” (Matthew 25:35-36).
Our goals at Reach
- Clarify the specific needs of the community and develop an action plan for area churches and individuals to help meet those needs.
- Explore possible partnerships with other civic groups, government agencies, schools and/or businesses to assist in meeting specific needs.
- Support specific individuals with compassion while maintaining dignity for them. Support specific individuals by showing them compassion, treating them with dignity, and guiding them toward self-sufficiency.
- Use these benevolent opportunities as a gateway to ultimately bring people to Christ.
Our mission
To serve the residents of Mt. Pleasant Twp. Yorktown in Christian love through supportive and caring partnerships in the areas of hunger, education, medication assistance and other personal needs.

To glorify God and bring people to Christ by ministering to our community with tangible expressions of love, compassion and Christian witness.
