Connect is led by a group of parents and community leaders from different churches throughout the area. Our children don’t always get a chance to grow with other children who share their beliefs or to have conversations about the characteristics (love, joy, empathy, mercy, generosity, gentleness, etc.) to which Jesus inspires us. Connect helps them to recognize that other kids are going through the same kinds of things they are and expands their village.

This is not led by a specific denomination or church-affiliated group; our volunteers and leaders come from a variety of different Christian churches. As such, we utilize a simple principle, “Major on the majors, and minor on the minors.” We’re helping kids hear about a gospel of hope that Jesus Christ made real the love of God so that we would love others.
